Higher levels of optimism have been related to better subjective well-being in times of adversity or difficulty. Now University of Kentucky psychologist Suzanne Segerstrom who has been studying this subject for years, provides evidence that an optimistic attitude and upbeat expectations also boost one’s immune system.
